How to Recycle at Wear It Again, Sam!

When:
We take clothes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - please call for an appointment.
Clothes are accepted seasonally: Winter from March, and Summer from September. We start making appointments in early March to bring winter and in early September to bring summer.
Toys, books, DVDs etc are bought all year round - appointment needed.

How:
We only take clothes that have been freshly washed and ironed. Shoes must be new or "as new" and for children under 5 years of age. If your clothes have been stored - even for a short time - please re-wash before bringing in. If clothes are more than 2 or 3 years old they will be a bit dated and not saleable. Remember, the better your clothes look - the greater price they will attract.

Bring clothes neatly folded in bags rather than on hangers.

The better the brand - the more likely they can be recycled. Brands such as Fred Bare, Gap, Oilily, Kenzo, Mambo, Seed, Guess, Next, Country Road, Esprit etc are in high demand.

If an item was very cheap to begin with it will probably not be suitable for resale .

Our Pricing Policy
When you bring your goods in to sell to us we will go through each item and then make you an offer for the total amount.

• Mostly we offer you part cash plus part store credit. (Credit can be spent on Costume hire as well as on recycled items and does not have to be spent on the day. We keep a record for you to spend on subsequent visits to the shop).
• Sometimes we may only offer you credit to spend in the store. (This is especially so if you only have a few items to recycle).
• Occasionally - if your items are exceptional - we may offer you the choice between cash and credit.

At any time you sell us items you may opt to take the whole amount in store credit - which is a larger amount than the cash offer - and the most "value for money" option.

We ask you to be realistic about the amount you will receive for your clothes and goods. We do not sell many items in our shop for over $35, and we offer you between 30% and 40% of the selling price.
